British Columbia Ferry Services Inc.
BC Ferries Current Conditions -
Sage and BC Ferries worked closely together
to develop a complex new web delivery system
to aid both BC residents and tourists traveling
in the Gulf Islands. Real-time data feeds
for all the major ferry terminals are fed
to the BC Ferries web site, showing current
space available for both regular and mixed
vehicle space for the entire day. Added to
this are webcams of the terminals, vessel
information, parking availability, terminal
conditions, and more. The result is a tremendously
successful project that has received very
positive public support, and has significantly
improved the ability for travelers in BC
to make educated decisions on when and how
take the ferry to their destination of choice.

BC Ferries Coast Card -
Historically, commuters would often purchase
booklets of Assured Loading Tickets (ALT's)
when traveling frequently on BC Ferries. These
booklets can get damaged, lost, or stolen,
and it is difficult to replace them. Furthermore,
you can only purchase these from ticket booths
or the BC Ferries Customer Service office.
With the introduction of this new service,
BC Ferries customers can use their Coast Card
to travel between major terminals conveniently
and securely. If a card is lost, it can be
easily replaced. Customers can load a range
of services onto their cards, manage a series
of cards under one account, and more - All
online! Sage was contracted to work with BC
Ferries to develop a sophisticated Customer
Area to manage all aspects of the card, from
registration to secure e-Commerce transactions.
In addition, a web-based Customer Service area
was developed to allow BC Ferries staff to
manage cards and user accounts.

Archaeologists
The British Columbia Association of Professional
Consulting Archaeologists (BCAPCA) is a non-profit,
professional organization comprised of professional
archaeological consultants working in British
Columbia. Sage was contracted to redesign
their existing web site with an improved
design and navigation. Software training
and support was also provided to allow BCAPCA
staff to maintain the content of the web
site.

system for their international conferences.
The site features a complex database with
a wide range of variables that allows members
to post documents and data, and view the
